Name Change: Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles recently announced its official name change to Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL). With offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, the organization's name change reflects its collective service and significant presence in these Southern California regions.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL) is the nation's largest legal and civil rights organization for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiins, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI). Asian Americans are the fastest growing immigrant population in the U.S. and makes up roughly 6% of the country's total. California has the highest statewide population of approximately 15%.

In October, AJSOCAL will host its 39th Anniversary Fundraising Gala at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. This annual signature fundraising event benefits and highlights the year-round programs and services AJSOCAL provides.
