Violins of Hope Opens at Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust

The exhibition that uses violins to educate about the Holocaust and celebrate the power of music debuts March 18.

The collection of instruments on display includes a violin that was played in the Auschwitz orchestra and another on the Kindertransport, an organized rescue effort that saved 10,000 child refugees who fled Nazi persecution. Violins of Hope will remain at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust through April 19.
