Supporting the Los Angeles Fire Department During Another Relentless Wildfire Season

Donations will help underwrite the cost of new equipment to better protect the city's 3,300 firefighters from carcinogens as they battle the Getty Fire in Brentwood and the Easy Fire in Simi Valley. With wildfire season increasing in length and severity in recent years, this protection arrives at a critical time for the LAFD.

Gregory Annenberg Weingarten directed additional funding to the Widows, Orphans, and Disabled Firefighter's Fund, an organization dedicated to helping firefighters and their families in times of need.
