Whitney Hosts Walter Annenberg Lecture by Kara Walker

The acclaimed American painter and silhouettist who interrogates issues of race, gender, sexuality, and violence in her work will be the featured speaker at the contemporary American art museum in New York City.

During the 2018 Walter Annenberg Lecture, Walker will discuss her storied career and how art can explore slavery's impact and legacy in America today. The conversation will be facilitated by Adam D.
