Paris Opera Brings Tchaikovsky to Life

On May 15, the Paris Opera performed the final concert of a three-part series featuring all of the 19th-century Russian composer's symphonies.

The concert series, which began in October 2017, was held at the Bastille Opera and the Paris Philharmonic. Tchaikovsky's emotional grandeur was on display through the Paris Opera's interpretations of his six symphonies, from Symphony No. 1 (Winter Daydreams), which was his first significant work, to Symphony No. 6 (Pathétique), which was his final completed symphony. GRoW was honored to support the Paris Opera and Maestro Philippe Jordan in recording these concerts.
