LA Promise Fund

LA Promise Fund's vision is to close the opportunity gap for students in South Los Angeles and beyond with a unique and multifaceted approach. The organization partners with public schools in the Los Angeles region, working closely with students and administrators to elevate every level of student success. At these schools, LA Promise Fund operates programs that focus on science, media arts, the advancement of young women, and pathways to college and careers in digital media, health care, business and finance, engineering, and construction. The Promise Parents project staffs each school with a community/parent representative who works to reduce barriers to parent engagement.

In addition to other in-school services involving before- and after-school activities as well as health and wellness, LA Promise Fund provides an array of empowering programs throughout the county. Whether they're connecting high school students to internships or expanding arts and science education, LA Promise Fund's wraparound services support the academic, emotional, physical, and social needs of both the child and the family.
