Rise Education Fund

Rise Education Fund's signature program, the paid Student Organizing Fellowship, recruits, hires, and trains under-resourced community college and university students to become advocates and organizers on their college campuses. The organization's campaigns focus on college tuition and fees, financial aid, student hunger, food insecurity, and student homelessness. In addition, the Rise Education Fund network partners with Rise, Inc. to educate college students on the importance of voter registration and student-led campaigns that directly affect the issues related to their attendance at college. Founded in 2017, Rise Education Fund envisions a world where the cost of attending college no longer prohibits students from achieving their full academic potential or forces students to pay tuition at the expense of food and housing.
