Orchestre de la Suisse Romande

Established in Geneva in 1918, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (OSR) is a highly regarded orchestra that performs across the globe and whose world premieres include works by Igor Stravinsky, Darius Milhaud, and Arthur Honegger. OSR performs extensively in Switzerland for audiences in Geneva and Lausanne, accompanies operatic performances at Geneva's Grand Théâtre, and participates in the annual United Nations concert. The orchestra also embarks on concert tours that feature performances in the world's most famous concert halls.

OSR maintains a close partnership with Swiss broadcasting company Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (Swiss Radio and Television), enabling concerts to be broadcast to millions of global listeners. In addition, the orchestra hosts concerts for children and families, leads in-class educational activities, and offers interactive digital educational resources for people of all ages to foster musical curiosity and exploration.
