Community Foundation of Acadiana

Since its inception in 2000, Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) has allocated more than $230 million in grants and has been recognized twice as one of the Top 100 Community Foundations in the United States. Operating in eight parishes in the state — Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermillion — CFA oversees a number of established funds that provide scholarships and support such causes as disaster relief and social justice. In 2019, following acts of arson at three churches within the St. Landry community, the organization acted as a depository and community organizer for the funds that helped to rebuild the churches.
