It operates two primary channels, PBS SoCal (formerly KOCE, established in 1972), and PBS SoCal Plus (formerly KCET, established in 1964), along with five digital sub channels that offer educational, news, environmental, and cultural content that is designed to reflect the diversity of the region's communities. Content ranges from award-winning documentaries to engaging arts and cultural programming, including such locally focused series as Artbound, Lost LA, and Variety Studio: Actors on Actors.
