Royal Academy of Music

The Royal Academy of Music was established in 1822 by John Fane, formerly Lord Burghersh, in 1822 and granted a Royal Charter in 1830. As the oldest conservatoire in Britain, the academy is dually inspired by musical traditions of the past while driven to generate future innovations. Today, it offers students from more than 50 countries pre-professional undergraduate and postgraduate musical training.
