Miami City Ballet

Founded in 1985, the Miami City Ballet (MCB) features a repertoire of more than 100 ballets built on the style and technique of acclaimed ballet choreographer George Balanchine. Its performances reach more than 100,000 patrons in South Florida each year and the company tours extensively throughout the United States and internationally.

MCB is home to the Miami City Ballet School, which is one of the country's largest dance training programs and offers financial support to students through scholarships. The MCB School is committed not only to world-class training but also to diversity, hosting robust roster of students from abroad, with an emphasis on international students from Central and South America. Through its celebrated performances, school, and network of community outreach, MCB serves as a national powerhouse in classical ballet.
