The Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization establishes arts education programs in the city's underserved public schools to empower young children.

Keeping the Arts Alive for Children

P.S. ARTS

P.S. ARTS is deeply committed to the idea that nurturing artistic creativity in students contributes greatly to their success in school and beyond. This is why the organization provides more than 30,000 children in Los Angeles with a high-quality arts education each week. P.S. ARTS works with some of the most underserved schools and communities across 90 schools across Los Angeles County and the Central Valley. Through this partnership, students receive weekly instruction in theater, music, dance, and visual arts throughout the school year.

In addition to in-class programming, P.S. ARTS offers extended learning, community engagement, and educator training. Through these programs, the organization strives to build confidence and social skills in students, equip educators to best meet their students' needs, and encourage the community at large to become more actively engaged in a safer, healthier environment. P.S. ARTS has been recognized both locally and nationally for its holistic approach to improving the quality of life for thousands of children.
