Located in Los Angeles, the film production capital of the world, the Academy Museum offers impressive exhibitions and programs that showcase the exceptional collections of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and bring cinema to life. The museum is housed in the renovated and expanded May Company building (now called the Saban Building) on Wilshire Boulevard. The museum's seven floors feature: exhibition, gallery, and special-event spaces; the Shirley Temple Education Studio, which hosts workshops and learning opportunities for visitors; and two theaters presenting screenings, film series, panel discussions, and member and family programming that illuminate the artistic and cultural contributions of an international selection of movie artists.
