Tracing Tradition Through Time
The Skirball Cultural Center is one of the leading Jewish institutions in the world. Since its founding in 1996, the Center has welcomed countless patrons to explore its cultural and educational opportunities. The museum’s central exhibition is titled Visions and Values: Jewish Life from Antiquity to America, which traces links between ancient Jewish traditions and modern American ideologies. The museum also presents multiple curated exhibits and live performances per year, along with educational programming for approximately 60,000 schoolchildren, including traditional workshops, summer camps, archeological digs, and more. Through this diverse schedule of programming, performance, and exhibitions, the Skirball Cultural Center strives to reach patrons of all backgrounds and generations while honoring an appreciation and understanding of Jewish American culture.
